Jessica Alba Body – What We Can Learn From Her Fitness Regime

Jessica Alba is famous for her flawless figure, and I personally believe Jessica has the perfect combination of lean muscle and yet a skinny-thin figure. Jessica’s trainer, Ramona Braganza, says Jessica uses circuit training combined with intense cardio for her razor sharp body. So Jessica cleary works hard and intense for her body, and her hard work sure pays off, considering she is widely viewed as one of the world’s most beautiful women. So what can we learn from Jessica Alba’s fitness regime?

“I Like Circuit Training.” – Jessica says
Many people are quickly discovering that body-weight circuits are in fact the best way to burn fat and gain muscle simultaneously. Circuits clearly work for Jessica Alba and they give a perfect muscle tone without adding bulk. The great part about circuit training, is that you can use them literally anywhere! I use them right at home in my living room and get an intense workout without driving 20 minutes to a gym. Here is a sample circuit if anyone would like to try one. If you are skeptical of using body-weight circuits, I can guarantee you will be smoked after this brutal workout!

Turbulence Training Crazy 8 Body Weight Circuit
60 Jumping Jacks: Done as fast as possible, but make sure you do full jumping jacks.
15-20 Spiderman Pushups: Or regular pushups if spiderman push ups are too difficult. To learn how to do a spiderman pushup, click here.
Walking Lunges: Take 20 steps total.
Spiderman Climb: Do a total of 20, 10 per side. To learn how to do a spiderman climb, click here.
Wall Squat: Do for 45-60 seconds. Don’t rest your hands on your legs.
Planks: Do for 60 seconds.
5 Burpees: Make sure and do a full pushup at the bottom and explode as high as pssible at the top into a jump.
High Knees: Done as fast as possible. Do 50 total.

Note: Don’t rest in between each exercise, even though you will feel fatigued, just hit the next exercise hard. Rest for 60 seconds at the end of each circuit, and complete each circuit for a total of 3 rounds.

“She Also Does 20 Minutes of Cardio” – Ramona Braganza
Well no surprise there, the key to getting a super low body fat percentage is cardio, cardio, cardio. But not the typical long, boring, slow, “hours on the treadmill cardio”, but intense interval training. Jessica has been seen leaving the gym drenched in sweat, most likely because she just sprinted her butt off and left the gym with her metabolism lit on fire while torching an insane amount of calories and body fat.

[I can also tell Jessica was sprinting, because she is wearing running shoes. If she were doing body-weight circuits, she would be wearing flat sole shoes, such as converse.]

The key to HIIT is to work out as hard as humanely possible in a short amount of time. This way you get in the gym, torch body-fat, get out and live your life. No one wants to spend hours in a gym doing lame low intensity workouts which don’t produce awesome results, or any results for that matter. For more on HIIT, click here to read my post on it.

“She Keeps Her Eating Habits Under Control.” – Ramona Braganza
Jessica is clearly very disciplined with her eating habits, it’s plain to see from just looking at her that she knows her body very well. Diet and nutrition is probably the hardest part in the super-skinny-body equation, but consistency is key. Jessica knows what works for her, and knows how to satisfy herself without wanting to binge and ruin all her hard work.

“Before this [pregnancy] it was coffee in the morning, yogurt for lunch, and the only meal was dinner,” Jessica said.

So it seems as though Jessica used to Warrior Diet to stay lean and in great shape. If you don’t know what the Warrior Diet is, it was created by Ori Hofmekler, and is based on eating one meal a day, dinner. For more information on the Warrior diet, click here.

Note: Water is extremely important, Jessica drinks 2-3 liters of water a day! I personally drink a gallon of water a day when I am training hard. A gallon a day is not required, but certainly a minimum of 2 liters of water is recommended.

    She looks stunning, but that warrior diet can not be healthy..(betlieve me i know a lot about nutrition)

    The Warrior Diet has actually been proven to increase the life span and is great for the body. I use the Warrior Diet and I have never felt so full of energy and have never gotten deeper sleep.

    My kung fu instructor eats just one meal per day. He would drink tea all day long and then just eat dinner with his family when he got home. He was 54 years old and didn’t look a day over 35. When I asked him why he ate this way…he said “eating makes you tired…so you can’t work as hard”. For the record, he was the hardest worker I’ve ever met as well as one of the heathiest people I’ve ever known.

    i’m starting this routine now , just finished the victoria’s secret one and have seen much improvement !
    i was just wondering how you would put this up in a program ?
    i was thinking :
    3 times in a week to do the ” Turbulence Training Crazy 8 Body Weight Circuit” after doing the heat up from the vs program and then should you sprint ? cause i could but i would be beat!
    and then just sprint/jog the other days except one free day ?
